Aviation Security Oversight
The aviation security services at GAN International Airport are managed and provided by AVSECOM (Aviation Security Command), a specialized unit under the Ministry of Defense and National Security of the Maldives. AVSECOM is responsible for the implementation of security measures in line with the National Civil Aviation Security Program (NCASP) issued by Directorate of Aviation Security Administration (DASA) and the standards set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
